Natalie Downs, CRNP

Natalie Downs is an Opelika native. She is a graduate of Opelika High School. You may know her as a drum major for the Spirit of the South marching band in 2001-2002. She loves all types of music still. She attended Southern Union State Community College for her Associate in Applied Science in Nursing and later attended Jacksonville State University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has 15 years of nursing experience working in a variety of areas from the Emergency Department, CVICU, Cath Lab, and has even taught Health Sciences in the secondary setting at Opelika and Auburn High Schools as well as in the post-secondary setting at Columbus Technical College. Natalie has her Masters in Nursing Educations with a post Masters Certificate in Adult Geriatric Primary Care from Walden University. She is Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She is also a graduate of Auburn University in Public Administration. War Eagle! She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key Honors Societies. Natalie is excited to serve her own community.
